The Canadian Crafts Federation serves as the national voice for professional contemporary craft across Canada, supporting the sector through collaborative leadership, national visibility efforts and strategic partnerships. Its members comprise provincial and territorial craft councils, affiliated organisations and thousands of individual craftspeople representing a broad spectrum of craft traditions, techniques and communities.
Profoundly influenced by Canada’s rich and complex cultural landscape, the Federation acknowledges the enduring presence and contributions of indigenous peoples and recognises indigenous craft practices as central to the nation’s cultural heritage and future.
