Domaine de Boisbuchet is an international research centre for design and architecture. Founded in 1986 by Alexander von Vegesack, the campus is surrounded by 150 hectares of protected nature in southwest France and comprises an architectural park of historic and contemporary buildings. Boisbuchet runs workshops, exhibitions, residencies and events covering different fields of the applied arts. It has a design collection on site and its own extensive library. Run by a team of cultural entrepreneurs, architects, and designers, the centre welcomes participants, visitors, and partners from all over the world.
