With two centuries of history, a unique educational model, and an international outlook that encompasses more than 140 partnerships with the best universities, top cultural institutions and innovative businesses, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsaD) is recognised internationally as a major public institution of higher education in art and design. EnsaD counts ten academic departments covering interior architecture, art, animation, multimedia/graphic design, product design, textile and texture design, fashion design, printed images, photography/video and stage design. The completion of a five-year course confers the title of 'master'. Interdisciplinary instruction is at the heart of EnsaD's teaching and the school encourages collaboration with outside professional, institutional or academic partners. EnsadLab was established in 2007 as a research, creation, and innovation programme for 44 researchers.
