Part of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Architecture, the Institute of Design offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies in product, industrial and multimedia design. Its commitment to developing the local Slovakian entrepreneurial environment can be seen in its collaboration with artisans through initiatives such as Flowers for Slovakia, which takes place every two years. Launched in 2011, the project combines the richness of Slovak folk heritage with contemporary design by bringing design students together in workshops to develop new collections and exhibiting this work across Europe.
