Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2001, INTBAU is a global network that promotes traditional building, architecture and urbanism. Offering an international platform, their mission is to create better places to live by supporting the global community who design, build, restore and research traditional architecture. They achieve this through workshops, summer schools, conferences, study tours, awards and competitions. With a strong focus on sustainable construction, INTBAU seeks to preserve local architectural knowledge and methods which have been passed down from previous generations. INTBAU has 35 chapters and over 7,000 members in more than 100 countries worldwide.
