CONTEMPORANIA High Craftsmanship Barcelona is a brand new exhibition that promotes national and international contemporary crafts at Palau de Pedralbes during this weekend, holding conferences, fair tours, an award ceremony and an off-circuit agenda in the best locations across Barcelona.

The fair is organised by the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM), and Le Département. In this first edition, international institutions such as World Crafts Council Europe, World Crafts Council Africa, CCAM, Fundesarte, JORGC, Sudakas – Habitantes del Sur (Chile), and Sichuan Fine Arts Institute will present the best of high craftsmanship worldwide.

More than 130 professionals of craft and creation from all over the world will present their proposals based on innovation and the artistic vision of contemporary craft, through different types of applied arts such as ceramics, jewellery, lacquer, metal, textile, glass, paper or wood.
