Historic Carving Graduate Showcase 2020

This summer, City & Guilds of London Art School are celebrating their BA (Hons) Historic Carving 2020 graduates with a specially curated online show, that enables the students to virtually exhibit their pieces and showcase the skills they have acquired. CGLAS took the decision following coronavirus to postpone to the summer of 2021 the annual Degree Show which usually invites art collectors and enthusiasts to come and see up close the work of their graduates. In the absence of this show, the CGLAS have looked to digital alternatives, along with many other art schools, to ensure their students receive recognition for their achievements. The online show demonstrates the advanced carving skills the graduates have developed over the three- year course which are reflected in their final body of work, completed with great dedication despite the disturbances caused by the coronavirus. The live portfolios presented on the CGLAS web page give each graduate an opportunity to demonstrate their individual accomplishments.
This year's graduates will exhibit their work at the Art School’s Summer Degree Show 2021, alongside next year’s graduates.
