Reinventing craftsmanship in Europe: analysis of international models

On 1 June, at the headquarters of the Seville City Office, the Ministry of Culture, EOI-FUNDESARTE and the Seville City Council, in collaboration with the Contemporary Association of Arts and Crafts , are promoting the conference "Reinventing Crafts in Europe: analysis of international models" with the aim of increasing Spain's visibility of the European crafts sector, identifying priorities and gaps, and learning about new proposals and projects in Europe through representatives of the institutions responsible for the management of crafts in their respective countries.

The event will be attended by the World Crafts Council Europe, Crafts Council UK, ARTEX (Italy), CEARTE (Portugal), BeCraft (Belgium), Design & Crafts Council Ireland and Heritage Crafts UK. Representatives of these institutions will share their best practices and address their main challenges in dialogue with Spanish experts in different aspects of crafts.
