Digital support for creatives

In the wake of the Covid-19 crisis, organisations, art charities, companies and governments are launching digital support initiatives for the creative community. From online digital educational programmes to funding options, below is a roundup of some of our network members’ initiatives.

Escuela de organización industrial (EOI)
The EOI is running an online digital business development course, set up in response to the Covid-19 crisis to help provide digital strategies to entrepreneurs, SMEs and the self-employed to ensure continued business progression and a forward-looking vision. The initiative is backed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and co-financed with the European Social Fund.

Design and Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI)
The DCCI has launched an educational and informative webinars series on its YouTube channel for designers and makers. Here, creatives can discover what forms of government supports are on offer in response to the Covid-19. They can also learn how to produce and edit videos, optimise web content and SEO, design an eye-catching e-commerce, write press releases and more.

Craft Scotland

Crafts Council

By keeping connected with craftspeople, small companies, galleries and fairs, they are ensuring that they are able to represent their needs to both the government and Arts Council England.
